Our problem was with the vacuum line which should keep the thing open when switched to norm or reserve.
It's been reported but I haven't had any feedback yet.
In the meantime mine has been replaced with an old-fashioned on.
You know . on, res & off, no prime.
Since then I have not stuttered once, and that in 4'000 Kms!!!!!
You thing sounds like a completely different problem.
I hope you get reimbursed, either from your insurance or Suzuki.
